Next Stop...Nyzul!

Alriiiiiiiiiight so after taking on the big bad bahamut and kicking his ass! I felt on top of the world! What could i possibly do to top that.....i pondered long and hard and finally it came to me.

Floor 1-15 Nyzul Isle no fails.....The gauntlet was set. I gathered together two of the most dragoonliest DRG i knew Morgem and Izaioi and we headed to the Alzadaal Ruins. It's quite creepy in those ruins, Quqirins running about not even talking to you.....as if they can't even see you and then the endless sea that could come crashing through the glass that doesn't even seem to be there. If not glass.....then is magic keeping the water back....what if that magic was to fail? Anyways back to our challenge. On the way we recruited the help of some passing adventurers. So the sixth of us entered the nyzul isle.

First floor everyones wost nightmare. Objective: Specified Enemies....which family would it throw at us. Our hopes were shattered when we turned the first corner and spotted him.File:Soulflayer.png

Needless to say the amount of time finding and killing not 2 not 3 but the maximum 5 of these beasts cost us a lot on the first run.....aggro on a subsequent floor finished the Job and we then had to retreated beaten but not beat.

Attempt two went better we held our hopes high but sapced out families and lamps were the cause of slow progression towards the ultimate goal and so....with literally seconds away from reaching the Rune to exit victorious....time ran out on us. The mighty monk decided that on
our final attempt he would transform himself drastically into a DRG this was gonna be sweet 3 drg would make mincemeat outta anything. Things were going well and we even managed to find the mythical 2-headed Wyvern!

And although our efforts valiant as they were a wipe from a trio of Ebony Puddings was too much to recover from. We fled the ruins hurting and heavy hearted. It was quite obvious that a higher power did not wish us to succeed this day. I can only hope that on our next adventure into the ruins they look upon our efforts a little more favourably!
