Next Stop...Nyzul!

Alriiiiiiiiiight so after taking on the big bad bahamut and kicking his ass! I felt on top of the world! What could i possibly do to top that.....i pondered long and hard and finally it came to me.

Floor 1-15 Nyzul Isle no fails.....The gauntlet was set. I gathered together two of the most dragoonliest DRG i knew Morgem and Izaioi and we headed to the Alzadaal Ruins. It's quite creepy in those ruins, Quqirins running about not even talking to you.....as if they can't even see you and then the endless sea that could come crashing through the glass that doesn't even seem to be there. If not glass.....then is magic keeping the water back....what if that magic was to fail? Anyways back to our challenge. On the way we recruited the help of some passing adventurers. So the sixth of us entered the nyzul isle.

First floor everyones wost nightmare. Objective: Specified Enemies....which family would it throw at us. Our hopes were shattered when we turned the first corner and spotted him.File:Soulflayer.png

Needless to say the amount of time finding and killing not 2 not 3 but the maximum 5 of these beasts cost us a lot on the first run.....aggro on a subsequent floor finished the Job and we then had to retreated beaten but not beat.

Attempt two went better we held our hopes high but sapced out families and lamps were the cause of slow progression towards the ultimate goal and so....with literally seconds away from reaching the Rune to exit victorious....time ran out on us. The mighty monk decided that on
our final attempt he would transform himself drastically into a DRG this was gonna be sweet 3 drg would make mincemeat outta anything. Things were going well and we even managed to find the mythical 2-headed Wyvern!

And although our efforts valiant as they were a wipe from a trio of Ebony Puddings was too much to recover from. We fled the ruins hurting and heavy hearted. It was quite obvious that a higher power did not wish us to succeed this day. I can only hope that on our next adventure into the ruins they look upon our efforts a little more favourably!

Back! And Bahamut once more! ^^

Ok Sooooooooooooooooooo yes it's been a long time. I will not bore thee with tales of woe and wonderment that have befalled A Crimson Rdm like myself but suffice to a few simple bullet points.

  • Duelist Chapeau - Obtained!
  • Crimson Cuisses - Obtained!
  • Alexander + Odin spanked like a bitch and mines now!
  • Limbus and Einherjar Bring it on!
So on the day of Lieu i have been assigned from the Gil depository that I spend most of my non Vanadiel time in I decided to level up my sub jobs that are lacking....First off Ninja......my most despised of all subs to play as. I don't know what it is I just don't think I was ever meant to be a ninja......Unlike my newest American man with the cutest accent. Oseryu he just oozes Neeenjaaaaaaaar. So yes today i managed to get to grips with one level. I blame two things for this. One, i was feeling ill and couldnt stay focused on Vanadiel too long. Two, i was coeerced into not only participating in but "Leading" a Dooooooomz (Dunes) Pt! Those of you who know me well will know all 'too' well how much i detest the dunes. The coeercer in question did manage to get three levels himself though which was good, rapscallion of a rascal that one is.

I was rescued from the Dooooomz by my neeeeenjar friend Brock and his lovely Black mage wife Brandy to do one of my favourite missions. Killing the boss at the end of Zilart story line. It went...... a little slopppy. With some people attackign the wrong part of the target. But in the end i got the killing blow, which is always good. I never thought to take any shots of the fight though, firstly trying not to die secondly didn't think i'd start blogging again today.

After that B & B decided they wanted to take down The Dragon Lord....oh no you say!? Oh YES! i Say! Bahamut.....I'm back! Be prepared! And alas as we prepare to fight him for the *cough....* 3rd time i bid you adieu to blog again when the dust settles and the ringing in our ears has ceased and we stand tall, proud until we stand VICTORIOUS.
